ARTEMIS, named after the Greek goddess of the hunt, is a wine that truly reflects its name. It’s the culmination of our hunt for the finest grapes from Napa Valley, which, when combined with estate-grown fruit, combine to create a Cabernet Sauvignon that expresses the regional character of Napa Valley with the signature style of Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars. This approach results in a wine of lush fruit flavors balanced by extraordinary structure and elegance. ARTEMIS demonstrates how astute grape selection and skillful blending can create a wine that represents the sum of Napa Valley’s best parts.
TASTING NOTES
The 2022 ARTEMIS Cabernet Sauvignon reveals rich aromas of dark fruits, tobacco, ripe figs, raspberries, and cherry compote, with a subtle hint of oak. On the palate, a silky mouthfeel leads into a long, savory finish, showcasing milk chocolate, dark cherry, and boysenberry notes.
ABOUT KARIA CHARDONNAY
The name KARIA (pronounced KAR-ee-ah) comes from a Greek word meaning “graceful”, and the 2024 KARIA Chardonnay truly embodies this quality. It showcases how grapes from selected cool-climate vineyards in southern Napa Valley can be crafted into a harmonious blend of fresh fruit aromas and flavors, balanced crisp acidity, and subtle oak spice. Light and elegant—that’s KARIA.
TASTING NOTES
The 2024 KARIA Chardonnay has aromas of white peach, zesty lemon-lime, luxurious crème brûlée, and refreshing honeydew melon, complemented by delicate floral notes and a whisper of clove and vanilla. The palate is treated to a velvety mouthfeel and medium body that exudes balance and sophistication. Expect vibrant citrus and luscious honeysuckle to dance on your taste buds, leading to an enchanting finish that lingers with a hint of oak.
ABOUT AVETA SAUVIGNON BLANC
AVETA is named for a water goddess often depicted carrying fruit. It is a fitting moniker to express the vibrant fruit flavors and minerality of our Sauvignon Blanc which is crafted from fruit grown in the alluvial soils of our estate vineyards as well as other exceptional Napa Valley sites. While Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars began making Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc in the early 1980s, 2013 was the first vintage to carry the name “AVETA.”

The 2024 AVETA Sauvignon Blanc has enticing aromas of lemongrass, kiwi, tangerine, grapefruit juice, guava, dried herbs, and a hint of wet straw. The bright, refreshing acidity captivates the palate, showcasing vibrant citrus and mineral notes that culminate in a beautifully savory and elegant finish.
