Join Winemaker Marcus Notaro and Steven Spurrier, the visionary behind the legendary Judgment of Paris, for a virtual wine tasting five decades in the making.
This tasting will highlight the 50th Anniversary of Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, including the story of the 1976 Paris Tasting. Wines to be featured include KARIA Chardonnay, ARTEMIS Cabernet Sauvignon and the just-released 2017 S.LV. Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. We hope to have you join us for this extraordinary occasion.

Marcus Notaro
Named Winemaker for Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars in 2013, Marcus Notaro has over two decades of expertise and passion for producing world-class wines. He manages the winemaking process from grape to bottle, working with vineyard managers and growers, overseeing winemaking regimes and carrying out blending trials. Prior to joining Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, Notaro was the Winemaker for Col Solare, located in the Red Mountain appellation of Washington state.

Steven Spurrier
One of the world’s leading authorities on wine, Steven Spurrier opened L’Academie du Vin, the first independent wine school in France, in 1973. Spurrier famously created the tasting between top Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon from California and France in May 1976, which would become known as The Judgment of Paris. A celebrated critic, retailer, teacher and consultant, he has gone on to win several prominent awards in the industry and write eight books.
